Background
The primary cause of existence of the organization call it its genesis was a live environmental crisis in South Western Uganda where people lost their lives as a result of unsustainable resources management such as destruction of vegetation, poor water and soil conservation practices presumably due to population pressure in the area.
In recent years, there have been similar floods and landslides in eastern Uganda, especially around the Mount Elgon area. This to the conservationist looked a tragedy that could not have happened if soil and water conservation measures had been adopted. This triggered the formation and successive full operation of Enviro Care Uganda and to-date the sky remains the limit in as far as environmental conservation, food security, climate change mitigation, safe water accessibility and renewable and efficient energy utilization is concerned notwithstanding the complementary and supplementary services. The organization is driven primarily to address Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 2, 6,7,13 and 15.5.
We are a very strong team of senior members to carry on environment conservation, research, economic development and accelerate sustainability and provide guidance and training in all matters relating to best practice in food security, energy production and utilization and water conservation in Uganda and neighboring countries at large as well as the whole world.
